Corin Forest Mountain Resort is located off Corin Road in Namadgi National Park, just 45 minutes outside of Canberra’s CBD. It is surrounded by the Tidbinbilla Mountain Ranges. Corin Forest is Canberra’s own alpine resort and is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes away from Sydney.

What to do at Corin Forest Mountain Resort
Snow play

Snow play is a fun and popular activity for all ages. During the snow season, you can build a snowman, ride a toboggan and have snowball fights in their purpose built snow play area . If you’re not keen on participating in snow play and would prefer to watch, there is a viewing deck available to watch (for free). Tickets are $22.50 and you can hire extras such as a toboggan, snow boots and jackets and pants.
Ski and Ride

Corin Forest offers a custom designed ski slope during winter for skiing and snowboarding for beginners wanting to master a gentle terrain. Take the “magic carpet” lift up to the top of the slopes and glide down to the bottom for endless thrills. Ski passes start from $50 and you can hire skis/boards and boots and helmets. Session times run twice a day and bookings are essential.
Snowsports School

If you’ve never skied before but want to give it a go, Corin Forest offers snow sports school for first timers of all ages. Each lesson includes all you need to know about hitting the slopes and there is free time at the end of your lesson for you to practice and master your technique. Each lesson includes hire of skis or snowboards and boots, jackets and pants and helmets. Prices start from $129.
Alpine Slide

The alpine slide is Corin’s one and only activity that operates all year round (weather permitting). The slide descends through the stunning Mountain Ash Forest on a 1.2km course. One hour passes are available for $25 per person and kids under the age of 8 ride for free (must ride with an adult). With only 25 bookings available per session, it’s best to book ahead of your trip to this mountain resort.
Dining

Corin Forest has a few dining options available for your day out. They have a café within rustic lodge where you will find a roaring open fire and relax and nibble on some of the menu items available from the café. If you’re not a fan of anything on the menu, there is also woodfired pizza available for purchase. Many people rave about their delicious pizzas, so we recommend you give it a go! If you’re wanting to save some cash and/or want to eat outside instead, there are plenty of picnic tables you can use and bring your own items to snack on over the day.
Accommodation

While Corin Forest Mountain Resort does not have accommodation within the resort, there is nearby campgrounds available at Woods Reserve.
Corin Forest Mountain Resort also offers special events like dedicated snow dog days as well as group bookings and even unique weddings and functions. Corin Forest is a must experience within Canberra for all ages.
